Hi, my name is Suzanne. I am 18, soon to be 19, and I go to Troy University in Troy, Alabama. I am a freshman there. I love to read, write, watch movies, play PC games and video games, and cards. I like history, am learning sign language, and enjoy college.

I am a huge movie buff and can even pick out flaws in some movies. I also listen to all kinds of music (with the exception of rap) from oldies (ex: The Temptations, The Beach Boys, etc.) to country (ex: George Strait, Chris Cagel, etc.) to classical (ex: Mozart, Tchaikovsky, etc.) and I even listen to bands and groups such as: Three Doors Down, Creed, Nickleback, and maybe one or two Paparoach and Saliva songs.

"With my shield or on it."
This is the oath that soldiers going into battle would say. Their shield was really heavy and if you're carrying it you cant run with it because its so heavy so you would have to leave it at the battle if you were to run from the battle. If you came home without it they would know that you ran from battle and that you showed cowardliness. It was supposed to be a major dishonor to come home without your shield. So the soldiers would take the oath, and since they used the shields to carry the dead, they would say "I will come home, with my shield or on it"

Eleanor Roosevelt was the wife of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. She was an extraordinary woman of her time and is still considered one today. These words of wisdom were spoken in truth. This is a very important quote to remember in every day life and I always try to, because there are people in the world who will try to put you down, but remember, as Eleanor Roosevelt said, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

You are not able to decide how much time we are given, but Gandalf answers what we do get to decide.

This is very true, but unfortunately, you can't always choose the scenes and events in your movie. You can, however, direct many, many other things in your movie.

"Love can build a bridge." --The Judds
This is a lyric and the title of a song that the Judds (Winona, Ashley, and their mother) all sang on the day their mother announced that she would retired from singing because of a serious illness she had. This is a very powerful song, and I encourage other people to listen to it and pay attention to the words. It is true, no matter what you go through, "Love can build a bridge" and help you get through your tough time.

My favorite authors include J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, and C.S. Lewis.

My favorite books are the Harry Potter books, The Chronicles of Narnia series, any book by J.R.R. Tolkien, and, of course, my childhood favorite, "The Rainbabies".

My favorite movies would have to be "The Black Cauldron" and "The Ghost and The Darkness", "The Preacher's Wife", "The Bodyguard", and most of the Disney classic movies.
