LunarticShow poetry

"I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad, the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had."

"How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd..." -excerpt from
Alexander Pope's
"Eloisa to Abelard"

Greetings to the land of magickal digital poetry land. A pleasure to make the acquaintance of its many inhabitants. I myself am Lunartic, or if you prefer, The Artist Formerly Known As Lunartic Floydian, or simply Lickety Kerchop. Interests include playing the Eerie Rumble Machine, or bass if you wish. I like word composing and do it often just to see how certain words will go together, leaving some of my poetry less understandable, but pretty and well written. I am a big fan of music....and magick, which is a requirement in the Dancing Elf Community. I believe I neglected to mention my involvement with the Dancing Elf Community. You see, I am the Secretary of Defense for the Dancing Elf Nation, and I get this cool ribbon that says Secretary of Defense...well, actually it says Girl Scouts of America, but they ordered mine....seriously, it'll be here...like, soon...Anyway, among the things that influence me are Musick, Magick, Poetry, dance competitions, penis envy, dead like me, laughing at old people, taking candy from babies, wax paper, the human psyche, air, the Pauli Exclusion Principle, George Carlin, erotic notions, water adolescent famine power, Kinky Street, Jellybeans, CKY, Showtoons, Cabaret, anime, Snow, The MOON, skateboards, accelerated algebra, laser gun fights, light saber fights, comics, aggravation, jack-o-lanterns, orangeclean, cheese, Being Loverly without being too emo, and the sweet smell of blue and green. My band influences: Incubus, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Pixies, Nirvana, Tool (Perfect Circle), Silversun Pickups, Pink Mochi, Black Moth Super Rainbow, The Shins, Chiodos and the White Stripes and some others...but who cares, does anyone read these???

TO ADD TO THE INSANITY I PRESENT TO YOU THE FOLLOWING:
A Brief History of The Elvin Geneaology
by: Dr. G. Lowery

I am a descendant of a race of little green mushroom men who long ago befell this planet in an effort to flee the tyranical dictatorship under the control of Adolf O' Connor, who would occasionaly get smashed off good Irish whiskey and ravage through the villages of the mushroom men (and women..mind you!) They traveled from their home planet, deep in the heart of the Crab Nebula, in tiny psilocybin-fueled ships. They landed in a small town known as Amsterdam where they sought refuge in Herbal Cafes and lived off the magickal mystickal haze that eminated from the strange two legged flesh bags and their crazy magick plants. My great-great-great-great-great-uncle, the King of the Shroommen, was the first to have what he called "the wierd wavy melty feeling" and in his daze set out across the sea to the land of America. He landed in what is now called Boston. Once there he carried out his domination plan to infiltrate our human gene pool, but all he could find were little elves. He still persisted in spreading his seed amongst the Elvin Community. What spawned was a genetic hybrid race of Mushroom Elf Humanoids. They came out of the womb baked out of their minds and thinking existentially about life and the meaning of space and time as it applies to quantum physics. Over the course of the years, the line became diluted and instead of being messed up at birth, they called it magick, and took up dancing to pass the time. And so it was that the MAGICKAL DANCING ELF COMMUNITY was born...but to this day, we gather to pay our respects to our ancestors by getting totally spaced-out and creating the many theories you as humans base your lives upon. Thank us, you owe us that much.

Let us take a moment to appreciate the finest cartoon ever:
AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE
Aqua Teen is by far the most important cinematic epic of our time. Every episode pushing forward the saga to unimaginable heights! The pure truth of every plot, every story filled to the brim with knowledge, and teeming with the satirical views on all of those important subjects. Like the economy, politics, THE FISCAL FREAKIN' POLICY! and not to mention the greatest gift Aqua Teen has given us...intellectual superiority over all who neglect it, and that includes those robotic space monkeys! Let me tell you my friends, we live in a dangerous time, full of trapdoors, tree monsters, and molded bread...if it wasn't for the guidance of Master Shake and Frylock and Meatwad, we would be hopelessly lost in the abyss of idiocy and all those other things that are scary and keep us up at night GLAD!!! GLAD I TELL YOU! that we are able to witness the beauty that is...AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE! We shall triumphantly pounce all the competition who stand in the way of the further production of any thing to further the furthering of how much further we can go forward into the bright future and start wars over who is cooler...the Mooninites or the Plutonians...and massive Carl Chest Hairs of Destruction and pools of blood and crazy sandwiches and fires and corn and crazy red hair...and Assisted Living Dracula and attic monsters and robotic santa with crazy poo-slingin' monkeys OF DOOOOOOMM!!! AAAAgggggghhh...........MY MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GERNALDO IS GRAVITY! Shall he plunge his tentacle arms into your soul and remove your lasers of creativity.

I present unto you an excerpt from Sarah Kemble Knights,
"The Journal of Madam Knight"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fair Cynthia, all the Homage that I may
Unto a Creature, unto thee I pay;
In Lonesome woods to meet so kind a guide,
To Mee's more worth than all the world beside.
Some Joy I felt just now, when safe got or'e
Yon Surly River to this Rugged shore,
Deeming Rough welcomes from these clownish Trees,
Better than Lodgings wth Nereidees.
Yet swelling fears surprise; all dark appears–
Nothing but Light can disipate those fears.
My fainting vitals can't lend strength to say,
But softly whisper, O I wish 'twere day.
The murmer hardly warma the Ambient air,
E' re thy Bright Aspect rescues from dispair:
Makes the old Hagg her sable mantle loose,
And a Bright joy do's through my Soul diffuse.
The Boistero's Trees now Lend a Passage Free,
And pleasent prospects thou giv'st light to see.
if
anyone
ever
wanted
to fly
it
would benefit
them
to
die
a circular
pattern
life
volume two
when our
souls are
done here
we
can
bask
in
the new.
    yeah, if people were all writing like me, i would never be without friend...but i would be far less interesting as my styles and ideas would be the norm, leaving me merely another fashionably bland and cliche poet.
    Man, I really love your stuff. Abstract at times, thought provoking at times... really makes ya think... if the whole world were made of people that wrote that kinda stuff, it'd be really freakin sweet. Think of all the artsy nuts around!
