Slightly scary that you can teach an old dog new tricks a lot of things have changed in my life from when I first came to this place I went from rebellious soldier to a rebel leader to a lover to a poet to a family man and finally finding my own peace in the end majority of the people I used to know on this website have grown up moved on an entire generation of poets some made it while sadly some did not


Some got published while the majority gave up and moved on in the end this website has touched every one in a way that no one has ever expected i can testify to the fact that poetry is not genetic but therapeutic and if you cant feel the emotion in it when you write it, you are not putting you whole heart into it and it will never reach out and touch other's


My name is not important while most on this website know me as Lucian it is not the name that matters but what is in your heart, Lucian for many years while in a sense was a part of me he was a major part of my life used as a pen name here on all poetry was a way for me to be who i really was without painting a picture who i was and that part of my life i was trying to escape from and release I have many friends on this website not even sure if most of them are still around or not or under the same name so I will keep the most important to me listed


I now live a simple Quiet Life in southern California with my wife, daughter & Son some times I miss the crazy times but then Im reminded of how much I love spending that moment with my Familyand every moment counts
