shriekingvioletta on October 25, 2007hey jen... just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one to go off meds to feel "normal"... i've been on and off anti-psychotics and general uppers for years. last foray was zoloft. i decided i no longer wanted to have withdrawls (if i was even an hour late on my dosage, i'd feel odd and off) or deal with the "did you forget your pills today, april?" remarks, so i quit cold-turkey. it was hard (and still is), but i don't want to be dependent anymore... i am the way i am, and i don't want to alter that with medications. you were made the way you are for a reason... don't let anyone take that away from you!
