I'm Claire, an 18 year old identical twin from good ol' England!
I'd say I've been writing poems since I was about 12 or 13, writing has been something that always interested me. I am currently working on a novel. No one I know has ever seen my poems, they are too personal so I only share them here and I welcome all comments and feedback.
When I am not writing I am: studying.partying!.dancing.socialising.reading.swimming.
I'm a college student at the moment (English Lit, French and Geography) and I start my English degree later this year.
I'm fairly happy as I've just been accepted at Cambridge University for English lit! *grin*
No that does not mean I am stuck up/arrogant/posh/rich.
I love literature mostly Victorian and some Modernism. My favourite books include: Tess of the D'Urbervilles (Hardy), Lady Chatterly's Lover (D.H.Lawrence), Wuthering Heights (Bronte), Intimacy (Kureishi), Madame Bovary (Flaubert)and the list goes on.
I love music, at the moment I am listening to: Lostprophets, Death Cab For Cutie, Amy Winehouse, Stereophonics, Brand New, Audioslave, Panic! at the disco etc etc.
My heroes are my Nan&Grandad, RIP I love you so much and will never forget you. Legends.
