Lorraine Galbraith• Show poetry

I tend to write poems when I feel confused or hurt or when I feel strongly about something in general.
Writing is a way for me to sort out whats going on in my head and make some sense of this crazy world!!! I'm not good at dealing with emotions I keep them to myself and writing is a way for me to get my feelings out without having to speak to someone.

I am currently at college studying to hopefully become a social worker, I love to help people if I can and believe that everybody deserves to lead a happy and fulfilling life no matter who they are.
I love to go out with friends, I love going to the pubs and clubs!!!
I also enjoy reading, cooking, dancing, singing and listening to music, basically anything thats fun!!

    being in my friend is enough... if you are willing to write to me and update my poems (i will give you my password when I go)... I will sent to you the poems I write while away... that would be great... and maybe you could copy the comments and send them to me.

    i can't get presents or money in jail... but if you wanted to (AND NO I AM NOT ASKING)... send 5 dollars to the inmate trust fund every so often to help me buy pens & paper, colored pencils, and sketch pads that would be great... I don't work in jail, because I can't work outside of jail... so I rely on my penfriends to send 5 bucks here and there to keep in my pens & pencils, envelopes & paper...

    but it's up to you... want to write to me direct its ctgal_1966@yahoo.com - we can get better acquainted that way.

    i am going to jail... for relapsing in september... i had 18 months hanging over my head and now it looks as if I will be doing it...

    i been writing poetry for a long time... and when I get out of prison this time around - I am putting together a collaboration - it will be called "Words Within The Walls" and I am asking the other inmates to contribute 2 poems to see if I can use their poems as well and of course give them credit.

    but after mid-march you won't see me here... I will be locked away in a prison cell... read my poem "In A Shell" - I wrote that on the 6th day I was in prison last year. let me know what you think...

    maybe you want to be penpals... if i write something you could post it to the board under my name for me - is that asking too much... it probably is.

    thanks just the same... and i use every-so-often cocaine... if you read my poems (some are duplicated because we combined two accounts), and I am going through them now to delete the worst of the two copies...
