I was born on the island of Trinidad, in the West Indies,
in 1959. I left my island home with my family, to live
in Ontario, Canada in 1969.
I am married and have two beautiful children and they
never failed to amaze me.
I love music, dancing, the performing arts, writing poetry
and most aspects of nature. I live a simple life and do
my best to enjoy each moment of each day.
I've been writing since high school. I only got serious
about it when I entered a poetry writing contest with
www.poetry.com. I won my very first Editor's Choice
Award for my poem " See With My Words ". I won my
second Editor's Choice Award for my poem " My Little
Boat ". I've just recently been awarded my third Editor's
Choice Award for my poem "Eternal Love".
Then I found www.allpoetry.com and my writing became
even better. Thanks to every single poet on this site,
who has aided me in one way or another, to write even
better poems, with more emotion and imagery. I was
able to "feel" my poetry.
I am thankful for one very special friend, Gabriel.
He keeps me grounded with his sincerity and interest
in my writing career. He truly is a unique person and I
thank him for his friendship and encouragement.
I recently had my first book of poems published by Publish America.

Lmas on October 27, 2005hey sweetie, i've been so busy with the new puppy we bought, on
sunday, that i haven't had much time to write. i'm currently
working on submitting a collection of my poems to a publishing
company. they'll let me know what they think of my work and

your writing and be good. Be true to yourself and others will
be true to you. Do what is honest and good and good fortune will come your way.(Then, maybe not, but there ain't no harm in
