Hiya my name is Laura. I live in England. I am currently 19 years old and am in my second year at university. I am studying Early Years care and education, I want to go on and teach, not sure which age group yet.
I have had a lot of things happen in my life, which have all had quite a big impact on me, I cope with it the only way I know how and regret it. My poetry reflects that and most of the poems that I have written are based on my past and present. So the majority of them are dark and depressing. writing poetry is another form of dealing with things. Admitidly I am not that great at writing poetry and most do not rhyme and I know some people don't like poems if they don't rhyme.
Hope this gives you a big enough insight into my life and feel free to email/IM me anytime. I am a good listener so even if you have never read any of my poetry, and you just want to get some things off your chest feel free. I want to take a course in councilling and so if I get some experience, it may help! Anyway. hope you are all well.
