Well, I got my poem, "Hypocritical View" published
by the library. There was this contest thingy at school,
and I won third place  . I won $20 bucks though  .
so yeah.....

  Inspiring words from a guy I know, Adam..

 "Words can be too powerful for some of us to handle. The pain we cause others in a lifetime often times goes unnoticed. Why? Because mental and emotional scars aren’t always clearly seen. However, as I’ve said time and time again, mental abuse is just as painful to undergo as physical abuse. I look back on my life and see the errors I’ve made. We’ve all made the same mistakes. At times, we’ve said something to intentionally harm someone. Was it the right thing to do? No, but we still did it. Sometimes when it seems like you are being heckled by the world, it can drive you to extreme measures. It’s difficult to balance the weight of the world on your shoulders. Often times, people are too weak and fold under the pressure. Then they end up taking their own life or the lives of others. Death rarely ever brings the best solution to a problem. I can think of few instances where death made the situation better. How do we prevent such a tragedy like this from occurring again? It’s simple. We must be careful with the power and words and how we use them. You never know what kind of impact your words have on someone and therefore we must learn to use them with care."

   "I was having a conversation with someone last night and I realized something—you’ve never truly made it anywhere until someone out there hates you. As I’ve stated before, 99% of hate stems from jealousy. People hate you because they can’t be you. Therefore, you know you’ve made it when people attack your character and try to tear you down. The past few days I’ve gotten hateful comments from white supremacists all the way down to immature little boys. Why don’t there words bother me? I’ll never be able to please anyone. No man or woman will ever create total world unity. However, they are a sign that my message is being heard. People will attack my character to distort your image but I will remain calm and stand strong in the face of adversity. I encourage you, my friends, to do the same. Stand above the rest. Be proud of who you are. You are unique in your appearance, heritage…even your beliefs. Don’t allow someone to attack you for your originality. Stand above them…"
