Well, I don't really know how to describe myself. So I'll just tell you what my views are on poetry and why I write what I do.
To me, poetry is something that you can't force out, but something that just comes to you. My motto is 'it's easier to write a sad poem than a happy poem', and thats true for me. I've never been able to write a happy poem that's good, or even passing. So I stick with my sad poems.
I write poems about abuse and relationships because it's easier for me. Probrely is that I read alot of V.C. Andrews too.
I wrote The Garden in Grade nine for an assignment that we had to do. Me and my friends thought it was great; but dissapointly my teacher thought I had plagerized it and gave me a zero. But I am past that now and happily continued to write. And it's getting better and better.
When the Lights go on Again... is my second poem. Its about how people can get so confused and disorientated by lies and scandles/secrets that they can't find any ways out of their situations. But for every shadow there is a patch of light nearby.
Wilted Roses, Broken Hearts is my latest poem and I think with Shadow Stalker I can patch it up. It is about a woman who had to go through an abusive relationship with a former husband and her story.
I will continue to post up poems and descriptions of them until I can't get any more ideas for them, which won't happen for quite a while I hope.
Also if you can, check out Shadow Stalker's poems. They're really good and are very emotional.
It has been quite a while since I edited my homepage, so as of now I have wrote 30 poems(not all of them are on AP). I also promote Lyrical Soul's poetry and Outragous's work. They're extremely well done and are beautifully written.
OK, my daughter has joined AP!! Check her out. She's DeviL-MaY-CrY Favorite poem is 'Winter's Love'.
Peace out and God bless y'all!!
