About me?? Where does one begin in such an endeavor without divulging too much of the life they have lived. No-one truly knows, but we shall begin with a name. I am Teddy Powers. My life like most is constantly changing. I was born in Athens on April 20, 1988, no not Greece, Ohio. I grew up in Norfolk, not the best place in the world but hey. I have had a to some standards lived a rather rough life. Not knowing my biological father and not having anything but a mother during those crucial teenage years it is very difficult. Try being 13 and talking to your mom about those intricate details that...well you know what I mean....it's very very awkward. Anyhow times were rough but the one "out" that I had found was my voice. Confusing I'm sure but what I mean is that I sang. Constantly. And in doing so I would write my own songs--even though I never finished a song. Then I met Sean Nelson who made me realize that the songs I wrote were in of themselves poetry and introduced me to the ap family. Sadly, in 2005 he and his sister were in a car accident on April 10th her funeral was five days later his was ten. This experience made me realize just how quickly we can leave this Earth and that we must make the best of it for as long as we can. I now write about anything, I write songs stories (which I have yet to put up here cuz it would take me forever to type-time which I do not have) and of course poems. so I hope you enjoy the works of which you read...please if you read comment it would be much appreciated and the favor will be returned.
