Im a mother of twin boys who are 17. They are my whole world. I started writing poetry a few years ago. I don't write as often as I should. I have had two poems published. In the days of poetry I have met some amazing people who will forever be in my heart for what they have taught me. My life has been very rough the last couple of months and with this up hill battle I wasn't sure how much I could take. Every day has been kind of a downward motion and right now all I have is my poetry, music and dancing. One of the things that has kept me going is this website so whoever reads my profile and my poetry please know that I appreciate you as a person and an artist. I have been taking classes on here and they have helped me learn how to write and understand different types of poetry.
I don't mind the critiques on my poems or even suggestions on how to make them better. I am in hopes of maybe one day putting together a book in English and translating in spanish for my grandmother.
