I was abused

And I let it go on

For way too long.

I've been beaten

And broken.

 I've pushed away

Any who cared enough 

To try and get inside my head,

And make me reveal it all.

All my painful secrets,

Kept hidden deep inside of me,

Have stabbed a hole through my heart.

 

I was abused

And let it go on

And, yes, I have been broken.

But, those I pushed away,

Still kept on trying to force

My evil, painful memories

Out into the open.

 

They shattered my wall 

And saw the scars and tears 

He left inside my heart.

They forced the pain out

From deep inside.

They sat with me

And shared my tears,

And took on my burdens.

And made it all right once again.

 

I was abused

And let it go on

For way too long.

But now I've pulled close

Any who have reached out.

I've let out my secrets.

And silenced my oppressor.

 

 I am no longer abused.

And though I still feel the sting of his belt,

And hear his taunts in my head late at night,

And the force of his blows,

I do know

That with the help of my friends,

One day, my scars will heal,

My tears WILL stop flowing,

I'll stop hiding,

And I'll be alright again.

 

 

 

I'm sorry Im sorry if I don't meet your standards I'm sorry if I'm not a *bunny* I'm sorry if my boobs aren't big enough to "satisfy" your needs. I'm sorry that I actually care about you and actually call to see how you're doing. But most of all... I'm sorry that most guys can't accept a girl for who they really are.
