The name is Clarissa and I am currently 16 years young.
No one ever has, or will completely understand me, but you're welcome to try and decode this complex riddle.
I am definitely not the most sociable person ever but once I get to know people better my bud will eventually bloom and reveal to the world it's inner beauty.
I tend to surround myself within a thick barrier in order to defend myself from the cruelty and darkness from the outside world.
Of course, even my barrier is not always strong enough to hold those dark forces off and I end up getting hurt either way.
I may seem like a cold, hard skinned person but deep down I am a very caring and friendly person, I just find it hard to show that side of me these days because whenever I confide trust within one, they take advantage of it and use it against me.
I am the acquaintance of many, but only 3 people in this world have my full undistorted trust.
I usually live within a dark world, but no matter how opaque the darkness, a ray of light lies within somewhere.
That ray is God, my family, and those few good friends I know I can trust with my entire being.
Without them, there is no meaning in life to me.
If you met me in real life, you would think I am the quietest and calmest person in this world, which I am among those people, but if in the mood I can be quite talkative.
Don't forget I am still a teenager, and my hormones are raging, so I have many changes of heart but my beliefs always remain the same:
Life is just a passing cloud that will eventually evaporate.
It is better to suffer here on earth than in the afterlife.
Things should never be taken forgranted and you must always cherish all that you have because within one second they could disappear from you life, something I have learned the hard way many times...
And that most of the shadows on this earth are caused by our standing in our own sunshine.
