Hello everyone! My name is Alexandra. But you can call me Lexie. I am listed as a male on my author page and that is only partly true. In truth, only anatomically am I boy. However, in both mind and soul I am a girl I am what you call transgender and I am going the process of getting a sex change, mtf. If you have questions, please ask. I won't mind one bit. Just please, for my sake, be respectful in what you ask and how you phrase the question,

~A note on the G.I.R.L poems~
Just to clear something up with my readers. The G.I.R.L series of poems is not based on one particular girl. These poems come from either girls I know or have seen at random. I use the girls to build a world with. Even with the girls I know, I treat them as complete strangers. The process that goes into these poems to create stories around these girls so that the readers can not only picture them in their minds, but also walk away feeling like they know them.

~A note on my non poetry pieces~
Last year, around late October, a boyfriend I really cared about died of AIDS. These essays tell the tale of how we met, fell in love, fell apart, and how he died...leaving me to pick up the pieces. I hope you enjoy the memoirs. They are posted out of order. Sorry. Here is the order:
1. "I want to be your____"
2. "Will you be my_____"
3. "Waiting..."
4. "One little white pill"
5. "Last Night"
6. "Black Morning"
7. "Faux Funeral"
