Well what can I say. I am 26 years old and a divorced mother of one child a son named Austin. He will be four in October and he is the brightest and funniest person I've been around. I love being a mom and that comes before anything in my life. I work in a great company that is very family oriented and outgoing. I am dating a man who also has two kids of his own. Together we make dreams and goals happen. Most of my poetry is based on real based things that have happened in my life or that have helped me learn from the mistakes I've made.
It took me a long time to crawl out of a hole when all I wanted to do was sink into one, especially since I really dont have any family left (only ones that live far away). I am a free and friendly person and just try to live one day at a time and enjoy my life. Poetry became my back-guard when all I wanted to do was scream, instead of screaming I reached inside and found words of inspiration just dying to get out. So as I slowly post these up I hope that the poems you do read are very inspiring and help you see you can get out of situations that knock you down even if you don't know how.
