  • She was a beautiful rose growing in ruined earth
Her delicate, cream colored petals were absent of flaws
    18 lines, 2 comments, August 30
  • Her beauty lies—in more ways than one—just outside her glance
It whispers softly of mediocrity via her ear, straight to her heart
15 lines, 6 comments, September 23, 2008. In Life, Love
  • Sight long since faded to monochrome Staring out into a sea of the same
    18 lines, December 25, 2007. In Thoughts
  • A slip of the mind sends it on its way downward Its descent so soft, gliding with the utmost grace

    I just stopped by today
Hope you are having a wonderful day
    That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way

    Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall

What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
    My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat

    Happy Holidays Gregg
