Altho I'm retired from my day job, I produce TV shows at a
local station, and am also the host of a TV programme titled
"The Poets' Corner." I was a late bloomer, and had never had
a poem published till I was in my mid-forties. Since then,
I've published five books of poems, and have had poems published
in numerous magazines, journals, newspapers and anthologies
round the world. Mostly, I just love to have fun.

Honestly poetry does not come easy to me, I am an aspiring novelist,(and the teacher I wrote about is critiquing my first novel for me). Anyway, I understand what you mean about flat out statements... I will work harder on the art of allusion... it is a difficult balance between writing a book and writing a poem, and I really do appriciate you pointing that out to me. Thank you. :-)
