Hi there!

I write for fun.   I write short stories dealing with whatever passes through my head at the time, be it horror, humour or crime.  I also write essays dealing with the past.

Although writing purely as a hobby, I will be trying to improve my work as much as this tired old brain of mine will allow, so please don't worry about criticism, I'm a hard nut to offend and welcome justifiable comments.

Oh! Almost forgot!  Unless I say differently, take it for granted that I'm in a happy mood.

You die if you're grumpy and you die if you're happy - so why be grumpy?

My all-time favourite radio show was "The Goon Show" which had some memorable, zany characters such as Major Bloodknock, Eccles and Bluebottle.

One of my favourite quotes is from the late Spike Milligan who said when asked about his death "When I die, I will have the following words written on my tombstone - "I told you I was ill!"
