I write poems it is a way of expressing my thoughts and feelings. I may not write them everyday, but I do write when I am in the mood. I love the contests that are inspiring. I feel that is what contests are really for, to inspire you. I am by no means an expert or literary genius and will never claim to be, but I do enjoy reading and writing poetry.
You will find some of my poems will be about these subjects:
I have always been interested in Love, Family, Sassyness, Medieval Times, Royalty, The Titanic and even just what makes us Tick weather it be good or bad.
Even before I started working on my own family tree and found out I was not only related to the Kings and Queens of England and other countries, but I was also related to the Captain of the Titanic. I hope to someday be able to claim the title Lady Kathleen offically.
My Son is grown and is overseas serving his country. I am very proud of him, but I do worry about him, He is in my thoughts daily. My Son claims I have an ESP connection to him, as we always seem to know when the other needs them. I feel it is more we share the same soul.
My Daughter is a single mother and has 3 beautiful children of her own to raise while she is trying to better herself by going to college. She has come a long way in the last few years, which makes me (her mother) very proud of her.
Poetry Classes I have taken are Sonnets + Terza Rima + Ghazal + Haiku. I also write in many other style formats. I do state the style format I am trying to use in the author's notes, if one was used.

Frozen Fears on November 8, 2006You've come a long way.. I appreciate the comment you left unfortunately im not as strong of a person as I thought I was.. but im getting through.. maybe we could talk one day.. when I feel like I can face my past.. as for now a simple hello and goodbye will have to suffice.. I should tell you that I didnt graduate.. but im doing the best I can.. ttyl
