My Knight,
my love, the one who holds my heart

To
My Lady of the lake,
The one who holds this cherished heart,
these words I come with offer, should you ever wish depart.
My pledge to thee straight from my heart as I write upon this page
Be not they born for others who play upon the stage.
To weed out problem flowers, wishing to seed their merry way.
For never shall another touch that which I so freely gave...doth sword find its mark within and slay the wayward seed.
Let banishment be forthcoming, from the kingdom of the free, should any jester try to take what does belong to thee.
Fair maidens they can wander and sire be lightly stepped, but should either forceful come upon, in the tower they be kept.
For no more the playful banter of fools be found with words, or to battle they will all be drawn, with steel of sharpened swords.
Be slayed in front of all to see, if they brave the walls to us, and not a word be spoken, neither haste nor shallowed cuss.
For within the realms of Sfallgimon lies a peace that shall not fall, or be their heads the decoration displayed upon the wall.
For in battlefields of yonder where the twain shall rarely meet, I’ll make my lady proud of thee, when they fall around my feet.
Be jester, sire or softest quill, their words do bring a cry, let all be warned this day our lord, they will fall if should they try.
Two years have passed since wars were fought to win the hand of thee, so dare they wish to coma ahead, lay challenge born with me.
Their fortitude of malice thought will bring sure their demise, as while the swords of words may fly, their heads will reach the skies.
And while this all comes upon us, my Lady of the lake, I'll make it known to one and all, your hearts not there to take.
I pledge to thee my lady, should I fail, I lose my life, for if ever there was nothing less, it would surely cause me strife.
So stand beside me always, never darkness fill our life, for as my lady knows I love her, as if she were my wife.
I bestow these words to thee my lady
Respectfully
Sir Pelleas
