Hello fellow poets!
I am Anita. I'm a 24 year old recent college graduate from George Mason University. I received my BA in Psychology, but I am currently working in the field of public relations. I work at two different jobs so I have hardly any time to write poetry anymore.
However, writing has been my passion since age 5. I have enjoyed writing short stories and novels all my life, but the first time I really got into poetry was when I was 13. I had some poems published in eighth grade but nothing substantial. My poetry began to transform as I got older, through high school and then college, as my taste in other poets and my emotions were transforming. Last year I wrote for my college literary magazine, but I do not write for recognition at the moment. My poetry is simply a way to portray my emotions and thoughts through a language my own.
Despite my private nature about my poetry I still believe your comments are extremely important and influential. Please leave some comments on my work so that I can improve.
