My Name Is Kayla. I'm fifteen years old and proud. My life is a stange and everyone in it is the audience. I act, and hide behinf a mask because I am forced to play many parts. A daughter, grand-daughter, sister, friend, girlfriend, soccer player, piano player, and writer. I write books and poems daily. I cannot stick to wrting about one thing because that is traditional, boring, and old. I write of happiness and lifes greatest moments, and sadness along with lifes most upsetting topics. Sometimes I will write because I have nothing to do, I'm crying or upset, I'm laughing histarically, or just because the moment feels right. Everyone is storyteller. We all tell stories within our mind, verbally, through art, and like everyone else here, writing. I write because it's my mini monalisas to share with you. I try to bring out traditional, and brand new aspects of subjests. Some are disturbing, others fantastic. If you read one of my poemsm, (i.e. Monsters Together), you will see it may be difficult to understand. With some of my work it means you must sing, or draw a mental picture to truly see and hear, and feel what I am expressing though a list of words. I am young, but I am a writer as good as any other. I don't get technical and use big words often because I see no point in confusing a reader who wants to enjoy themselves, and I know reading something over and over again searching for a meaning is not enjoyable. Please enjoy my feelings, thoughts, and simple stories I tell and feel free to comment anything you choose. I will reply with a comment and thank you as well.
