My name is Kristy. I was born on Saturday, March 11th, in 1995. My father told me I am of Irish and Cherokee descent. So be it. I love Ireland and I feel as the Native Americans do about this once-great land called North America. My first introduction to witchcraft occured in 2006 by a couple of goths. Little did I know of what I was really getting myself into. These goths were a happy couple, but they did dark magic, leading me to become a Satanist. Now, let me explain to you my history of religion. I grew up in a Christian family. My grandparents were devoted to God, and since my mother, sister, and I lived with them, my family had to attend Church sessions. I won't lie. I hated going to Church. I found it boring and I hated how the preacher always yelled. I understand that most older people can't hear well, but I got to the point where my head hurt so bad I could have cried. When I started to mature, I experimented with different religions. At first I was a Christian. Not by choice, but because my family was too. Nobody ever develops curiousity until they are introduced to something else, correct? From 5 to 10 years of age, I went to Church with my family. At age 11, I became a Satanist. Why? Because for some reason I hate the religion of Christianity. I never understood why until I read about them on countless websites and numerous books, one being the Bible itself. Christian's demonize absolutley everything. If they don't understand it, they say it's the work of the Devil. That right there is my main problem with Christianity. I suppose the feelings and beliefs I accumulated in my past life have caught up with me. After a year of researching Satanism, which had some forms of witchcraft, I became an Athiest. I realized my true calling at the age of 13. It wasn't until I got into High School that I was introduced correctly to the Craft. What a wonderful lesson that was. I now honour the Goddess Hecate, incoroprate natural magic and native culture into my practice, as well as being amongst the dead from time to time during moon magic and ghost hunting.
