I have been writing poetry since I was in 7th grade. It has definitely improve A LOT since then, lol.
Well, I'm basically a very cheerful person, but I generally have extreme emotions so when I'm sad I am VERY sad, and that's generally when I write my poetry. I'm especially into my poetry after I have guy problems, so... if there seems to be a theme in my poetry, lol, that would be it.
I'd say my smile is my best feature, I always have one glued on my face and it's always HUGE (It comes from my dance training, ever since I was 5 my instructors have been drilling "SMILE DAMMIT" in my head). Plus my parents have spent thousands of dollars fixing my once screwed up teeth. So I figure, as long as they cost that much to be straight, I might as well show them off.
I dance, as I'm sure you realize from the above comment. I'm on my high school's varsity dance team and I've been dancing for 13 years. My dance team is pretty good, we placed 5th in State in high kick and and 6th in jazz funk last year.

I write pretty much all my poetry after I've had something go wrong with a guy. And it is the main thrust of my writing as well!
