Ink flows upon the wind
Whispering into the hearts of man
Secrets that no soul ought know
In clear, pure words
The wind sings
A song of life and love and hope
And underneath it, the melody
That chimes in the moonlight
Sings of despair, hatred, and cold tempests
Anger, fury, violent rage
Is the song to accompany
Love, life, and truth
And the tapestry of the wind
Weaves to form a time-told story
We call it poetry.

Well, I spend a good hour or two a day writing, often another reading, and precious little actually doing my homework. Yet somehow, I'm a straight-A student - go figure. This, my friend, is how you know that the world is truly corrupt.
I love writing poetry, and but for my recent disinterest in prose, I would be good at that, too. As it is, you'll never know, because I don't have the patience for long sessions of the same storyline. So there. *sticks out tongue*
My archangel, if you are reading this, know that you are foremost in both my mind and my poetry. Your sweet voice is the song to bring my from the gloaming of dreams to the glory of the waking world. My luminous angel, you carry me through the day.
