I write about subjects that show importance to me at the moment. I also like to experience different styles, and ways to write poetry, hence why I'm here.
Now that I am older, I realize that many of my earlier poems were very choppy, angsty, and for the most part, not that good. I am not going to promise that I won't write those type of poems, because I'd be lying, it will happen sooner or later. This place has been a sanctuary in which that I could vent. I will however try my best to write with style, and a unique quality all my own. I hope that this can be done. If not, at least I'm writing, there are worse things.
As for myself reading poetry, I like to "feel" it, it doesn't have to be filled with a fantastic vocabulary, or be MENSA approved for me to like it. I like poetry to be natural to the speaker, unique to them, and if it's more "Simple," then all power to them.
I critique honestly. I won't bash you for fun, or my own entertainment. This is not the way I do things. If there is something I don't like, I'll tell you. I'll also try to tell you how to improve it. You can take my advice with a grain of salt however, seeing as I'm no expert.
I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and having conversations.

Chromaggia on September 3, 2006TJ, what's up? You and I never talk like we did before. What's going on? It'd be nice if I could get a hint. Call me when you get the chance. Remember, if you need anything, my door is always open.
