I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou

A free bird leaps on the back of the wind
and floats downsteam till the current ends
and dips his wing in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the
sky.

But a bird that stalks down his narrow cage
can seldom see through his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to
sing

The caged bird sings with a fearful trill
of things unknown but longed for still
and his tune is heard on the distant hill
for the caged bird sings of freedom.

The free bird thinks of another breeze
and the trade wind soft though the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn and he names the
sky his own.

But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings with a fearful trill
of things unknown but longed for still
and his tune is heard an the distant hill
for the caged bird sings of freedom.

Michael J. Fox has a small one,
Madonna doesn't have one,
The pope has one but doesn't use it,
Clinton uses his all the time,
what is it?

Favortie qoutes:
We could all take a lesson from crayons:some are sharp, some are beautiful, some have weird names, all are different colors;but they all have to live in the same box.

Our eyes are put in the front of our heads,so we look to where we're going, not to where we have been.

The only time to look down on someone is when you're helping them up.

A true friend isn't the one bailing you out,a true friend is the one sitting next to you saying"man,we messed up".

"Don't argue with an idiot,an on looker may not be able to tell the difference."
