Sanity calms, but madness is more interesting.

Let thy speech be better than silence, or be silent.

I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.
Michelangelo Buonarroti
Looking out of my window this lovely spring morning I see an azalea in full bloom. No, no! I do not see that; though that is the only way I can describe what I see. That is a proposition, a sentence, a fact; but what I perceive is not proposition, sentence, fact, but only an image which I make intelligible in part by means of a statement of fact. This statement is abstract; but what I see is concrete.
Charles Sanders Pierce
The tragedy of life is what dies in the hearts and souls of people while they live.

Reality is a crutch for people who can't handle drugs

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a big fucking television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disk players and electrical tin openers...choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on the couch, watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life. But why would I want to do a thing lke that? I chose not to choose life. I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?

trashflavoredtrash : In response to your comment... on August 10, 2007I'd gladly like to share the story behind "The Chaotic Hipbones" poem.
The_Chaotic_Hipbones is a journal that I began writing almost a year ago, perhaps two? I can't remember, my memory fails me lately. Anyway, I began writing these on-line journals, not in some kind of quest for my desperate need of attention, but because I wanted to see how humans reacted to certain situations, personalities, and, all together, other human beings. So I first created one xanga, then stemmed off from that was The Chaotic Hipbones' journal, whose name was Brenda, and from that, unfurled several other journals, each very popular, each with a different character, but somehow all of them relating to each other in some type of familial or friendly way.
The Chaotic Hipbones was about a young girl who was bulimic. It was written in first person and people easily and openly believed the tale. What is scary about my writing is that I, myself, do not have an eating disorder, nor am I pregnant or have been, as the character, Brenda Chix, becomes, yet I am so able to freely write about the everyday lives of these people as if I were living them.
The place at which you can find these journal entries is www.xanga.com/The_Chaotic_Hipbones.
I don't have the time right now, but I only have a few of the journal entries set to private, and you'll have to read from the beginning. If you would like to read all of the journal entries, just tell me, and I'll set them all to public. =]
