Did you know, sometimes it frightens me
When you say my name and I can't see you?
Will you ever learn to materialize before you speak?
Impetuous boy, if that's what you really are
How many centuries since you've climbed a balcony
Or do you do this every night with someone else?
You tell me that you'll never leave
And I am almost afraid to believe it.
Why is it me you've chosen to follow?
Did you like the way I look when I am sleeping?
Was my hair more fun to tangle?
Are my dreams more entertaining?
Do you laugh when I'm complaining that I'm
All alone?
Where were you when I searched the sea
For a friend to talk to me?
In a year, where will you be?
Is it enough for you to steal into my mind,
Filling up my page with music written in my hand?
You know I'll take the credit, for I must have made you come to me somehow.
But please--
Try to close the curtains when you leave at night,
Or I'll have to find someone to stay and warm me...
Will you always attend my midnight tea parties
As long as I set your place?
If one day your sugar sits untouched...
Will you have gone forever?
Would you miss me in a thousand years
When you will dry another's tears?
...But you say you'll never leave me
And I wonder if you'll have the decency
To pass through my wall to the next room
While I dress for dinner.
But when I'm stuck in conversation
With stuffed shirts whose adoration
Hurts my ears, where are you then?
Can't you cut in when I dance with other men?
It's too late not to interfere with my life
You've already made me a most unsuitable wife
For any man who wants to be the first his bride has slept with.
And you can't just fly into people's bedrooms
Then expect them to calmly wave goodbye.
You've changed the course of history
And didn't even try.
Where are you now?
Standing behind me?
Taking my hand...
Come
And remind me who you are.
Have you traveled far?
Are you made of stardust too?
Are the angels after you?
Tell me
What I am to do...
But until then,
I'll save your side of the bed.
Just come
And sing me to sleep
My name is Keikou Tenshin--
I have a very unhealthy obsession,
Though I love it all the same.
The following quotes are things that I think either describe myself or my beliefs. >>
"Death is the mother of beauty; hence from her,
Alone, shall come fulfillment to our dreams
And our desires." -Wallace Stevens
"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;" -Edgar Allen Poe (as I'm sure every member of AP knows xD)
"...And surreality's evil twin rears its ugly head." -Me, 9/17/07
"Love is a strong emotion, I know what it is, and for that reason I'm not going to give it out to whatever fucktard decides they want to hear it." - Me, who-knows-when
"I should change my name to Miss Anthropy." -Me, 7/2/07
"So lovely in my straightjacket, though the bloodstains do clash with your lipstick." Unknown
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?"
-Epicurus (341-271 BC)
"There are those whose own vulgar normality is so apparent and stultifying that they strive to escape it. They affect flamboyant behavior and claim originality according to the fashionable eccentricities of their time. They claim brains or talent or indifference to mores in desperate attempts to deny their own mediocrity. These are frequently artists and performers, adventurers and wide-life devotees.
Then there are those who feel their own strangeness and are terrified by it. They struggle toward normalcy. They suffer to exactly that degree that they are unable to appear normal to others, or to convince themselves that their aberration does not exist. These are true freaks, who appear, almost always, conventional and dull."
-Arturo Binewski
(Geek Love, by Katherine Dunn)
"Where is Hell? Do you know? It's in my head...
Did you know?
My blood is black..."
-Chrona (Soul Eater)
"Bibles burn holes in your eyes if you read too much or too little."
-Demonikvampire

I wish I may, I wish I might,
Freeze the stars and steal their light.
Kia Tenshi
A flash of black, a glimpse of feathers and he’s hidden again, if I try I’ll never be able to escape from the unbearable pain infecting him
I'm known by many names, but normally I use this one.
Keikou Tenshin is my number one alias. She is me and I am her, and we like to sing together.
I'll tell you about her, if you like.
She doesn't like to speak to people she considers beneath her. She can frequently be found staring motionless at the schoolwork on her desk. Her mind is obviously somewhere else. She has no fancy MP3 player or iPod, and her CD player roars at her sometimes. It also eats batteries like they're going out of style, but she won't hear a word against it. She only feels safe when enveloped in her glow-in-the-dark constellation comforter, despite being fifteen years old. She greatly adores innocence in such a sick world. She also adores sickness in such an innocent world. If a song catches her fancy, she creates in her mind a motion picture to go along with it. She is constantly frustrated by her inability to create. She likes to wear contacts simply because some other people cannot tolerate them. It makes her feel strong. Talking to herself has become an art. The last time she cried was four months ago. She would really just love to dropkick quite a few nonexistent people, then toss her hair over her shoulder and walk away with a smirk. Wordplay makes her ell oh ell. She holds the door for strangers but not family or friends. Apparently she is just terrible at math. She has no idea how to dance. She only recently learned how to rollerblade, and has probably forgotten. She only trusts four people in the world and is hoping for a fifth just to even it out. The best moments of her life have happened when she was sleeping. She absolutely hates mushrooms. She has no need for a map in her own house. She finds it tiresome to argue for a long period of time. Emo-screamo music makes her squeal like the fangirl she is. A ball python would be the ideal pet for her. As it stands, she has a black cat named Hiei, and that's good enough for now. She has a taste for the macabre. She works alone. She admires Mae West and her phantasmagoric dresses. Her favorite actress is Helena Bonham Carter or Jodie Foster, her favorite actor is either Johnny Depp or Samuel L. Jackson. You decide. Her internet is slow and she hates it to death. She's been trying to get her Aries of a mother to hurry up and get high speed internet for two years now, but don't even get her started on that. She's a total Virgo, through and through. Roleplaying is her outlet. Every once in a while, she gets really hooked on one particular RP and tends to get a little obsessive-compulsive about it. Despite the fact that she is a total Toshiro Hitsugaya fangirl, she hates the winter and being cold. She can be very persuasive. The pictures on her wall talk to her sometimes. They boost her self-esteem and tell her she's beautiful even though she's not, inside or out. She can tell that she'll like a song if the title has nothing at all to do with its actual content. She has pictures of Heimdall in the Davy Jones' locket replica around her neck, but she's not obsessed. On a scale of one to ten, she'd rate herself at about a six or seven. Her factorizer is broken and it makes her sad. She likes it hot. The thought of being a model scares the hell out of her although it's been suggested to her many times. She is extremely afraid of gaining weight and may soon begin taking martial arts to lose a few pounds. Sometimes she wishes she lived in the 1850s. She has finally come to terms with the fact that she is not the independent feminist type, and plans to find a husband with a good income and be a stay-at-home supermom. Quite honestly the world frightens her to tears and she would rather not partake in it. She is rapidly becoming more and more aware that she is not very good at anything. For some reason she can't bring herself to fancy anyone within her own social clique. This may be because there are no short blonde-haired boys in her own social clique. Thinking about her future makes her want to cry, because all she can think about is how she wishes her life will turn out. Her eyes seem to be taking a beating from the computer, as they don't like to focus when she opens them more than 1/4 of the way. This does make her wonder whether or not she ought to see the optometrist again. She wishes one thing, just one, could set her apart from the rest of the world. No such thing has been encountered yet. She loves gorgeous sunny weather and the summer. She absolutely hates it when it's cloudy and feels like telling the sky to make up its damn mind, rain or sun?! The wind really bothers her, as it messes up her hair and gets trails of it caught in her lip gloss. She is convinced that that is one of the worst feelings in the world. Good luck trying to get her to lend anything to you, as she is very possessive and protective of her own stuff and doesn't like anyone to touch it. Because they always mess it up one way or another. She is ridiculously particular about her things. When no one is online to talk to or roleplay with for a while, she gets to feeling very very lonely.
You know how, when a jet is flying at dusk, it leaves this trail of smoke that catches the sunlight and glows brighter than anything else in the sky...
yet you still know, also, that it's polluting the atmosphere with deadly toxins in copious amounts?
Yeah, it's kinda like that.
When you say my name and I can't see you?

Luken on September 10, 2008Well I got here through one of your friend's profile.
I just want to say if I could give you a million happy smiley dudes clapping their hands over their heads I would.
The way you described yourself was absolutely beautiful.
I like how your mind works.
Make sure it stays oiled, though.
Someone like you could drive yourself insane.
But is that really a bad thing? -
Demonikvampire on August 22, 2008hello, how are you today?
Thanks for the comments. -
