I'm...not much of a poet.
I mostly just do stories and fanfiction, actually. I only crank out maybe one poem per month. If that. Sometimes its longer in between poems. It really depends.
However, I have been looking for a place to post some of my poems. Not all, some are too private, but just some.
My poetry, when I do write it, is usually weird and odd. It's usually freeverse, though occasionally it will have a structure. It's not often that happens, though.
NOTE: I DO NOT SPEAK RUSSIAN! I am sorry for those who are disappointed. I LOVE Russian literature, but I cannot speak the language.

Katerina Ivanovna on May 2, 2006Well, I actually read "The Brother's Karamazov" first, and some translations has Katya being Katerina Ivanovna, some have other last names. I picked it because I loved her character. I picked it 4 months before I read Crime and Punishment!
Then, when I read Crime and Punishment, I was intrigued by the hopelessness of her character, and what it symbolized for mankind. So, yeah, that's why I picked that name. -
chat noir on May 2, 2006hmmm....much as i like dostoevsky, i wasnt nuts about katerina's character (the whole nudging your child into prositution thing rubbed me the wrong way), but im curious as to why you named yourself after her...
