The world is made up of three types of people:
-Fighters: those who work hard and thrive on the thrill of challenges and succeed,
-Lovers: those who want to love, nuture and are loved,
and the last type,
-Actors, who are neither lovers nor fighters, but pretend to be, without putting in the effort. That's what frustrates me, I'm a pretty tolerant woman, but I can't stand pretentious people. Be yourself, else you'll never realise how pretty darn awesome the original 'you' can be.
I loved interpreting impressionists like Van Gogh from a surprisingly young age(I loved Wheatfield with crows!) I also admire the pre-Raphaelites,they bring with them a formiddable sense of originality.
I'm a very impatient cook and I don't like being restricted by following a recipe book, but when I do find the time I love to bake: decorating cup-cakes is therapeutic for me.Spices to food is like jewellery to clothing, you can take the same piece and make it look/taste completely different just by adding the right ingredients.
As a student living in Mthatha(in the Eastern Cape) for the past four years, I've been without many everyday luxuries that we take for granted, like hot water, electricity and fresh food(defrosted curry just doesn't taste the same). There are however, things that I wouldn't be able to function without:A photo album of my family and friends and a strong cup of tea with Romany Creams every morning.

Being Miss India South Africa is going to be an exciting venture for me. Everyone's like, oh it might affect your studies and blahAugust 6, 200 words. → Make first comment?
