KaitlyneShow poetry

Poetry is an expression of my inner-most thoughts and feelings. To me, poetry is an outlet for emotions such as anger, fear, and loneliness. Every experience that I have ever had throughout my life has it's own set of feelings and poems that go with it. Many things can be an inspiration for poetry. Each day something new happens and with every passing hour of that day, ideas are forming inside my head about what I could write to best describe the experiences that I've been having, that is why I keep a journal. For me, poetry isn't something that requires a lot of effort, it's almost like breathing, it just comes naturally.

Favorite Quote: "
"And Shepherds We Shall Be, For Thee My Lord For Thee,
Power Hath Descended Forth From Thy Hand,
That Our Feet Shall Swiftly Carry Out Thy Command
So We Shall Flow A River Forth To Thee
And Teeming With Souls Shall It Ever Be
In Nomine Patre, Et Fili Et Spiritus Sancti"
-The Boondock Saints

Words of Wisdom:
* "A servant is not a thief and those who are cannot help themselves" Ever After- Drew Barrymore aka Danielle

* In order to have an accurate story, you need both angles of perspective.

* The truth isn't on either side, but rather somewhere in the combination both sides of a situation.

* Politics are just games old people play to get on TV and in the News

* There is no power greater than that of faith in yourself

* Listen, you never know what you might learn

* Look before you leap: weigh the pros and cons; analyze the action and the consequences of that action before you take it.

* Don't be afraid to speak your mind, just because your point of view is different doesn't mean that it is wrong.

Some Catchy Phrases and Things to Think About: ~* *~ = personal favorites

1. If you're in a vehicle going the speed of light, what happens when you turn the headlights on?

2. Since light travels faster than sound, is that why some people appear bright until you hear them speak?

3. I don't approve of political jokes; I've seen too many of them get elected.

4.~*Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.*~

5. Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused.

6. If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy

7. Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way you'll get a mile away from them and you'll have their shoes.

8. ~*Cats know how we feel, they don't care, but they know*~

9. ~*It took cats thousands of years to domesticate humans.*~

10. ~*Dogs come when called; Cats take a message and get back to you*~

IT'S ALWAYS THE HARDEST TO TAKE ON THE EASY STUFF:

SOMETIMES IN LIFE YOU FIND THAT YOU'VE FALLEN IN LINE WITH THE WRONG PEOPLE OR GOTTEN OFF TRACK. IT IS FROM EXPERIENCE THAT THESE WORDS ARE SPOKEN AND NOT WITH HATE, PREJUDICE, ANIMOSITY OR HOSTILITY.
IN MY WHOLE LIFE I HAVE FOUND THAT YOUR GREATEST SUPPORT COMES NOT FROM OTHERS AROUND YOU BUT SOLELY FROM DEEP WITHIN YOURSELF. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU ARE DOING, AND KNOW THAT WHAT YOU ARE WRITING HOLDS THE POSSIBILITIES TO INSPIRE OTHERS TO SOAR TO GREATER HEIGHTS, THEN YOU REALLY AREN'T AN AUTHOR.

NEVER GIVE IN TO DOUBTS IN YOURSELF, NEVER SURRENDER TO OUTSIDE FORCES AND NEVER STOP BELIEVING IN EXACTLY WHAT YOU CAN DO!
NO POWER IS GREATER THAN YOUR OWN, NO VOICE STRONGER THAN THAT OF EXPERIENCE. LISTEN, LEARN, LIVE, LAUGH AND LOVE.

ALWAYS,

KAITLYNN ELIZABETH THOMAS (SKYY)
