Capturing moments in photography,

recycling nature on a paper white,

that is exactly what has driven me.

Beautiful landscapes are a gifted fee,

my heart just leaps at such a pretty sight,

capturing moments in photography.

Completely hooked, I can not but agree,

because nature's grip on me is rather tight,

that is exactly what has driven me.

Fullgrown wheat, an undulating sea,

bending willows, putting up a fight,

capturing moments in photography.

Telling my tales in rhyme or verses free,

my smiling muse is dancing in moon's light,

that is exactly what has driven me.

My soul at ease, as peaceful as can be,

the inkpot filled with dreams of pure delight,

capturing moments in photography,

that is exactly what has driven me .

 ABOUT ME:

There isn't really much to tell about me. I'm 64. I'm Dutch, but I lived in the States (Bethesda MD.) for a short time, some 38 years ago, we got married there, in Rockville MD in 1969. We moved to Canada (Toronto) beginning 1970 and went back home to The Netherlands a few months later. We have two daughters, Iske May (38) living with her husband in Dubai at the moment and Lynn Karijn (35), living in The Netherlands. Best daughters one can wish for.

A poem for me, written by Riftkin

A mothers love is complete
like the rose that smells
of the sweetest candies that
tickle both the nose and
the senses.

What is needed this time of year,
are hugs and a little pampering from
the family she cares for every day of
the year. For no season goes by
that a mother does not care for her family.

To show the love this time though
is a poem from me to you dear poet.
For you joined a contest of mine,
and you win this poem that is just
for you. So, have your family
serve the meal, do the dishes and all.

This poem is for the lady,
and the thoughts of it being
a token of friendship, from
one poet to another.
