Listen to the quiet noise
Strike yourself with lovely poise,
I am a writer and nothing more,
With only thoughts that are at war.
Sweet dreams of hope
And of flight,
Listen to the quiet,
It is the writer's noisy night.
The clock strikes ten,
And lights begin to fade,
Little children fast asleep,
Tiny breaths are made.
One hour passes and all is silent,
Except for my pen,
It scratches on this paper and it
Wakes me up again.
Again another hour chimes,
Its midnight in this town,
The silent seems to take it's toll,
Bells ring inside behind my eyes.
Here all is fast asleep,
Excepting perhaps me.
But what choice do we really have?
For writers know not sleep.
I have been writing and reading stories ever since I could. It is my food! I am a teenager...awkard stage.
My favorite book...hard to say. I have WAY too many!
I have to say that I recently read a book called The Legend of the Wandering King. I recommend you read it if you like adventure, romance, and poetry.
I'm two quarters and a heart down
And I don't want to forget how your voice sounds
These words are all I have so I'll write them
So you need them just to get by
Dance, Dance
We're falling apart to half time
Dance, Dance
And these are the lives you'd love to lead
Dance, this is the way they'd love
If they knew how misery loved me

Favorite Quotes:
What I like best is a book that's at least funny once in a while.... What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone...
-JD Salinger
A word is a bud attempting to become a twig. How can one not dream while writing? It is the pen which dreams. The blank page gives the right to dream.
-Gaston Bachelard
Hold fast to dreams, For if dreams die Life is a broken-winged bird, That cannot fly.
Langston Hughes
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.
-Thomas Edward Lawrence (of Arabia)
