My name is Julie aka Jugi and I'm a 20 year old from Kentucky. Growing up here hasn't always been the best, and some would even say that coming from the small town I'm from (about 300 people) that I was sheltered some from the real world I love my life and those that God has placed in my pathway. Each day becomes an adventure for me. I'm with the most wonderful guy of almost 2 years off and on. It took me a lot of time and mistakes later, but God has allowed me into his life and I'm thankful for that. I recently just lost someone that was really close to me unexpectedly, and I'm going to miss you a lot. Most of what I've been writing here lately has been about them, so hang in there with me until i can fully recover from this! I am a full-time college student and the local community college here for now. My major is Criminal Justice for now, only until I can transfer to my 4 year college and double major in Anthropology and Criminology to become a Forensic Anthropologist. Here recently, I've been asked to attend a college over in Ireland as a transfer student and I'm not completely sure about what to do yet. I work at the Mental Health Clinic here in my county. I love my job. All day I get to sit and talk to people who love you unconditionally and hear their stories that they have to tell you. I love writing. My wonderful grandmother has taught me everything I know and she inspires me to be the best I can be. All of my poems have a real emotional tie to me. I tend to write about things that I'm going through. I'm thinking that's about all there is to know about me. Any questions, feel free to ask, OH and don't forget to comment my poems and if you want, criticize them. How else am I suppose to get better ?

There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because his conscience tells him it's right...
