Poetry : Open sharing of individual ability to channel creative soul-song away from the ego

'At qui legitimum cupiet fecisse poema, cum tabulis animum censoris sumet honesti.' Horace Epistles ii 109
Who would leave poem true to the laws of art, orders writing tablets with the spirit of an honest judge. Horace Epistles ii 109
'Ceux qui savent me devinent, et pour ceux qui ne peuvent ou qui ne veulent pas comprendre, j'amoncellerais sans fruit les explications.' Charles Baudelaire - Preface Les Fleurs du Mal
"If your work of art is good, if it is authentic, it will find its echo"
"The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe." Gustave Flaubert 1821_1880
"Il faut effacer le reflet de la personnalité pour que l'inspiration bondisse à tout jamais du miroir. Laissez les influences jouer librement, inventez ce qui a déjà été inventé, ce qui est hors de doute, ce qui est incroyable, donnez à la spontanéité sa valeur pure. Soyez celui à qui l'on parle et qui est entendu. Une seule vision, variée à l'infini. Le poète est celui qui inspire bien plus que celui qui est inspiré. Paul Eluard 1895_1952 Ralentir travaux, 1930
The poet's personality should evaporate, empowering inspiration's rebound from life's mirror ad aeternam. Give diverse influences free reign, invent that which has already been invented, which is as much certitude as incredibility, while according spontaneity peerless and pure priority. Be someone to whom one speaks and who is heard. One unique overview perspective, with infinite variations on a theme. The poet should inspire significantly more than being inspired (trans. JR) http://lapoesiequejaime.net/peluard.htm
"A word is not a crystal, transparent and unchanged; it is the skin of a living thought and may vary greatly in color and content according to the circumstances and time in which it is used."Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.
Visualisation of music: see http://www.physorg.com/news127659537.html "The more constraints one imposes, the more one frees oneself of the chains that shackle the spirit... the arbitrariness of the constraint only serves to obtain precision of execution." Igor Stravinsky
E_MISSION fission without contrition, cognition without precondition, recognition without submission. Transition within tradition leading from, through and to precognition.
Through twenty-six pieces of lead
to peace will new world be led
after William Caxton 's motto
With twenty-six soldiers of lead
I will conquer the world.

“All these things have you said of beauty. Yet in truth you spoke not of her but of needs unsatisfied, And beauty is not a need but an ecstasy. It is not a mouth thirsting nor an empty hand stretched forth, but rather a heart enflamed and a soul enchanted. It is not the image you would see nor the song you would hear, but rather an image you see though you close your eyes and a song you hear though you shut your ears. ./.
People of Orphalese, beauty is life when life unveils her holy face. But you are life and you are the veil. Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror.
But you are eternity and you are the mirror.” ~ Kahlil Gibran

sinfull : you are that pebble...what a treasure...words...you have here on September 16A pebble in her hand
she offered me this stone
A treasure in her eyes
to equal all the treasures known
Polished by the waters, sand
A gem she held within her hand
Imagination did unleash
she found a pebble on the beach
No golden coin could mean this much
What innocence is this
and such
a gift she offered in her hand
She found a pebble

French Tries : Language, spirit, dream, and so many other things on June 22, 2008I came and read your lines.
To me they were like signs
Amongst beautiful words:
Heralds to the world,
Links to the mind,
Waves of beautiful wonders,
Overture to a magical monde,
Journey to new powerful sounds.
All this I found.
Reading further now,
Knowing better also,
I'm sure I wasn't wrong:
Your work is all that strong.
That is true: I am spellbound...
