My name is John. I recently took up poetry again, after certain events in my life sparked some creativity. I recently moved back to my hometown, and have gotten to spend time with people who are an important influence in my life. All of the poetry I write is straight out of my mind and memories, it just my not be in plain, dead-man's terms. It's complicated. Some of it is very difficult to understand, unless you have previous knowledge of me and the events in my life. Other poems of mine, however, simply state it as it is, no confusion or distortion. A good example of probably my most confusing poem is Why My Time is Longer Than Short, which can be found at http://allpoetry.com/poem/5599360. It's about my luck, a certain person in my life, and certain events in my life. Yes, I'm very aware of how vague I am being. On the other side of the coin, a very simple and easy to follow poem I have written is The Wise Fool, which can be found at http://allpoetry.com/poem/5608343. This is based off of an argument I had with someone. The argument itself was much more in depth and complicated, but this is the short version of the argument. Enjoy your stay in my mind, and no throwing rocks.
