Jeremy DeForrestShow poetry

Hey there!

My name is Jeremy DeForrest and I live in Seattle, Washington. I've been around this website since it's very early stages many years ago. The website and myself have gone through a lot of changes over the years. I've found love here, lost love, been married, got divorced and now it's like starting all of this over again. I haven't written very much in recent years but now more than ever I believe that I need poetry and poetry also needs me. Although now that I've written it... it seems like quite the arrogant thing to put it that way.

A little bit about myself. I'm thirty-one years old and single (hint). I have type one diabetes and have also recently been diagnosed with Neovascular Glaucoma. I'm partially blind in my left eye and hoping that Jesus spares the vision in my other eye. Now that I've dropped his name... I will say that I love Jesus and am a Christian. I'd love to meet other Christians and talk about Jesus. As my church (Mars Hill Church) says... "It's all about Jesus. It's only about Jesus". Anyhow, I look forward to forging new friendships. Please stop by and say hello

I have a dear friend in Washington State. I would like to say one thing, regardless of what we see as suffering, God's there and way ahead of us with His wonderful plans. I have a bad back that keeps me from walking and keeps me in pain more often than not, and I don't don't feel neglected or punished. He's knows what He's doing and so as His child I trust in Him to take care of me.
Btw my friend also has type 1 diabetes and has already advanced to dialysis. Of course she never took her problem serious. I look forward to reading your writes. I wish you the best in life and will pray for you. God bless.

A lot of horrid and terrifying moments, lots of deaths and finding the love of my life. left Cali for FL then OH and now to stay in TX. Engaged! If you have time, drop me a line. I would love to find out how things are.
