JenPShow poetry

Alright buddy, here we go.
A friend got me onto this about a year ago and I've been addicted for quite some time. I love it here, I feel so at home. I've been writing ever since I was little. It's my thing and I just love it. I would say that usually I write stories, with a few poems here and there but that's all changed now. I don't have a style and most of it doesn't rhyme. I write what I feel and that comes straight from the heart.

^Then

Now> Writing is about being able to express something that you can't always put into the right words until you arrange them on paper. It's about stripping down to the rawest part of you and baring it for all to see, just saying flat out how you feel and not trying to process it all. It's my therapy.

An acrostic written for me by the wonderful Night Hope

Joy shines brightly in your
eyes ~ you are
never far from the
Purity of Truth...

Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon. A beauty bomb. And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one. It would explode high in the air - explode softly - and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air. Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas. And we wouldn't go cheap, either - not little boxes of eight. Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in. With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest. And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination. ~Robert Fulghum

Maybe in that dark moment
When all was so late and tired
I should have gotten up and come to you
I should've not made those excuses
And now
You're only to be found in fleeting moments
That don't really amount to much
And the hole in my heart gets wider and deeper
Threatening to explode
And outside I get more frustrated

...and now I'm yearning
With one hand on my heart
Shielding the hole
From the bitter wind
That will rip me apart
If I don't find your warmth soon...

Alicia Keys unfulfilled keys

we're just ordinary people
we don't know which way to go

-John Legend

There comes a moment when it's more than just a game, and you either take that step forward or turn around and walk away

But the thing is, it's hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely cause almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith, that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true.
-Grey's Anatomy

At this moment, there are six billion, four hundred seventy million, eight hundred eighteen thousand, six hundred seventy one people in the world.
Some are running scared.
Some are coming home.
Some tell lies to make it through the day.
Others are just not facing the truth.
Some are evil men, at war with good.
And some are good, struggling with evil.
Six billion people in the world,
-six billion souls.
And sometimes all you need is one.

Life isnt always about waiting for the storm to pass. . .
its about learning how to dance in the rain

Life is short, Break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truely, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile...

The important thing is not to be bitter over life's disappointments. Learn to let go of the past, and recognize that every day won't be sunny. And when you find yourself lost in the darkness of despair remember, it's only in the black of night that you see the stars, and those stars lead you back home.

At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That's how we're made. So, you can waste your lives drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them.
~Grey's Anatomy

theres something in your voice
