Nothing, my lord
What, so young and so untender?
So young my lord, and true.
By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes
Tis now the very witching time of night when churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes out contagion to this world. Now could I drink hot blood and do such bitter business as day would quake to look on.
The road goes ever ever on, down from the door where it began . . .
Don't you leave him Samwise Gamgee
It's something unpredictable, but in the end there's right, I hope you've had the time of your life.
Romeo, thou art a villain
We are young!
Heartache to heartache we stand...
What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for? And what is worth dying for. The answer to all four is the same: Only Love.
Bring me that horizon.
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
Hear the nightingale, sing a lullabye, lonely shadow, rise from the darkness.
Last night she came to me, she came softly in. So softly she came, her feet made no din, and she laid her hands on me, and this she did say: It will not be long love, till our wedding day.
And she shall bring the birds in spring . . .
Rosemary, that's for remembrance.
So here's a health to the company, and one to my lass, let us drink and be merry, all out of one glass.
The pearly gates
Have some eloquent grafitti like
"Lost and Found" and "Don't look down"
And, "Won't someone save temptation"
Please,
Remember me...
Let the rain fall down and wash away my tears,
Let it fill my soul and drown my fears,
Let it shatter the walls for a new son;
A new day has come.
I could not stop for death, so he kindly stopped for me
Who wants to live forever?
Who the hell can see forever?
Christine, I love you. . .
Passing bells and sculpted angels, cold and monumental,
Seemed for you the wrong companion, you were warm and gentle...
Mazeltov, Mazeltov!
Savoir, savoir, pour la posession,
J'ai, tu as, il a, nous avons,
All I am is, just a housewife, nothing special, nothing great, what I do is, kinda boring, if you'd rather, it can wait.
Tu vois, je vous oubliais deja.
So if you live your life in a three-piece suit
A cocktail dress or combat boots,
You pick your path and you walk your truth,
And the world will come round to you.
Promises mean everything, when you're little, and the world's so big...
In the water I remain, running down.
The moon was a ghostly galleon, tossed upon cloudy seas,
The road was a ribbon of moonlight, o'er the purple moor,
And the Highwayman came riding, riding, riding,
The Highwayman came riding, up to the old inn door.
I was a child, and she was a child,
In that kingdom by the sea,
But we loved with a love that was more than love...
Tinuviel! Tinuviel!
the memory is like a knell
a faint and far-off tolling bell:
Tinuviel! Tinuviel!
...the tinntinnabulation that so musically wells, from the bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells...
But a dream within a dream.
Looking for the Congo creepin through the dark,
cutting through the forest with a golden track
Are you going to Scarborough Faire?
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme
Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with catsup.
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.
The important thing is to never stop questioning.
Imagination is more important that knowledge..."
I'll give a prize to whoever can tell me where all those quotes came from, I bet nobody can get them all. good luck, lol.
I will live every moment with all of myself; I will make every word poetry, every movement dance, and every sound music.

Amsnuggles on April 18, 2005Hey got your IM. Thanks for the comment! Yeah I see what you mean. But that was fisrt contest poem, I was on a time limit (I'm it school when on this site), and last I really don't write poetry. But I liked your comment, when writing I need all the help I can get.

gcnjsmith on December 11, 2004Thank you for the comment, Jaymielle. I wasn't sure about putting up that little poem, but I'm glad you like it. Your right about using the periods. Hey, when are you going to complete another chapter of Katherine of Aern? You are doing a really good job with it, and I can't wait for the next chapter.

gcnjsmith on December 6, 2004Hey, thanks for the comment and I appreciate the critique. "The Greatest Pick-up Line Ever" was just a little account of my life. Let's see, description? Ashley was a short, petite girl with light, brown hair and blue-green eyes. She was very graceful in all her movements and had a smile that was beauty, itself. Ahh, memories.
