I am 43....and like many I have been through A LOT in my life but of coarse I have gotten through it with my faith in God, and perhaps a lot of time.

I AM A SURVIVOR!!!!~ of many things~ and I know within the last 9 years of my life that PRAYERS have had so much power into healing and just to pray to be thankful to our Lord for everything he provides us, our families and loved ones! How precious they are to us!!!

Speaking of that word "precious" I have a grandson that is 2 and his name is Jayden....Oh I can't even begin to say just how much my little grandson means to me!!

Last fall in October I married my best friend Ken and he too has a grandson so both of our grandsons are 3 1/2 months apart and they are such joy and treasures to both of us....

God has allowed me the blessing of being a mother!! I have a soon to be 24 year old(Kristi) and soon to be 23 year old daughter(Michelle). I love my daughters with all my heart and they can never possibly begin to know my love for them!!

I express my own thoughts,rejections,fears,love and loss in some of my writings....4 Years ago writing my feelings out about the loss of my late fiance' was like self therapy for me.

Here is a poem my daughter made for me that I want to share! Thank you Michelle for your soft and loving heart and how you always make me feel special too!!

My Mother

There are many special people I know
But none are quite like you,
You provide so much love and care
In everything you do.

Even if I made a huge mistake
You would be there for me,
You’re the most special person in my life
And everything I want to be.

I get my drive and determination from you
You said to be the best I could,
Which is why I’ve reached my goals in life
Just to make you proud, I would!

You’re more than the best mom I know
And there’s not enough I could say,
To explain the reason I lay at night
And thank God for you everyday.

You’re the inspiration in my life
Without you- I don’t know what I’d do,
‘Cause every time I’m at my lowest point
I can always count on you.

And no-one can give better advice
Or direct me where to go,
Than you- the best mom in the world
Which is why I love you so.

A million ‘thank-yous’ aren’t enough
And nothing would sound just right,
Which is why I’m so proud to call you my mom
And I love you more than life.

    Hello my friend. I hope I find you well? Congratulations, belatedly, on your marriage. Here's hoping for many happy years ahead for you. And congratulations also, on becoming a Grandma.

    I am still writing my dark stories and poetry, that will never stop as writing is in my blood. Anway, I will not keep you, just to say take care, and always be true to your writing.

    Hello there stranger. If my typing is a little off, I have a cat stuck to my arm right now. He won't let me put him down. Gosh, it has been so very long since I have got to chat with you. I have missed being online. But great news, I have internet again, and a new computer to boot. It is so amazing. I love it. I hate not beign able to get on here and read and chat with ya. I do hope that things are going great for you. Congrats on being a grandma. That is amazing. I am so happy for you, and I am happy about you and Ken. I hope to catch up with you soon.
