My name's Jacob, and greetings to you all. I'm a 16-year-old girl, Canadian (although I live in America) and just trying to improve my writing skills. I hope one day to become a writer.. fiction mostly.. and I hope that everyone who reads my poems can give me feedback that helps me grow and achieve that.

I love all genres of music, and I judge individual songs, NOT the types of music.

My favorite books are Like The Red Panda and Life Is Funny

I grew up with my mother and father until I was 10, and we moved to the states, which is when they split up. He was always a fine father to me, though a little over-protective, but now he contacts me about once a month on average and wishes not to pay child support.

Relationship-wise, I like shy guys and girls, and I value intelligence.

I always like to chat, which is why I have my AIM, MSN and Yahoo down there.. and I don't discriminate against age; I'm friends with many older people, but.. not creepy people. Don't stalk me. Please.

You say you want to be a writer as well. What kind? Prose or poetry? If it's prose, what genre?
