-Well, after a bit of a hiatus (and with almost no new poetry to show for it), I'm back online. In the past months, my life has changed radically, and so has my outlook. So now I"m here as a hopefully more mature person and poet. -
There is not much to say here. My poetry will be a more accurate view of who I am, so as it starts coming up again, take a look.
In a real quick glance, I'm broken, bleeding, hurting, and grasping desperately for something real to hold onto. But life's not all bad. Or so I say.
My friend wrote this poem. It was most amazing.
Piano's Tears by Hylian90 ( www.allpoetry.com/poets/hylian90 )
My fingers glide across my sight
O'er the keys, black and white
Thoughts reeling and eyes now glossed
They tell a tale of joy now lost
Grand piano, tell me why
Why did this go so awry?
It truly was not long ago
When my soul was lit aglow
Grand piano, tell me how
How did I get where I am right now?
Tears slide down, and join your keys
Adding to the song's unease
Grand piano, forgive me please
For I tell my story through your keys
I've given up and lost all life
And surrendered to eternal strife
Grand piano, I'll leave you now
But still I bear this weight upon my brow
Though I found relief within your sound
Still my life remains unwound
Grand piano...Thank you

Goodbye, so long ago,
Echoes in a frail hello. -
And when the leaves begin to touch,
Flirting, from each other they are thrust.

Jakob on June 21, 2006You were an old favorite when my name was..... something different. I don't remember what now.
And about my emotional baggage... If not for that, what would I write about? Not so much as a curse as a gift, if seen that way. -
Michele La Pointe on June 21, 2006sweet sixteen years old and so bogged down with emotional baggage...? terrible... you should be chasin girls (or boys) and enjoying being young and indestructable... keep your chin up and smile... things will get better... how'd you find me by the way?
