I am in the process of altering my author page, but also I am a great procrastinator (any others out there?), so bear with me. I have enjoyed anonimity but now would like to be more visible. The beard is a seasonal thing. I keep it until I am told to shave!
My author page graphics were created fo me by my friend Little Feather. A gift. A total surprise. I was delighted. Little Feather is very good at this sort of thing and I invite you to look at the backgrounds she has made. Thank you Little Feather for your thoughtfulness. You are a treasure.

A name shows who we are and reflects a part of our spirit. My friend TENDER WOLF taught me that. More than that she also gave me a new name and told me that I must share it and be proud I honour her gift and share it now with you, my name is SILENT EAGLE. I have learned much from TENDER WOLF and thank her here also.
"You must teach your children that the ground beneath our feet is the ashes of our grandfathers. So that they will respect the land, tell your children that the earth is rich with the lives of our kin, Teach your children that we have taught our children that the earth is our mother. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of earth... This we know, the earth belongs to man; man belongs to the earth. This we know. All things are connected..." Chief Seattle, 1851
"Behind your image, below your words, above your thoughts, the silence of another world waits. A world lives within you. No one else can bring you news of this inner world." Anam Cara by John O'Donohue
WORDS SHOW US THESE WORLDS and they are beautiful.
A poem of great meaning to me below and when I first read it was attributed to one who seems to have written a great deal of poetry. The poet's name? Anonymous.
Heredity
When my father died
I found him in the grown
Face of my brother. Brother died
And then I was alone
I went down to the valley
And in the still water saw
First my father's face and then
The face my brother wore

"He marvelled at how the past could be refigured to suit the preent, at how fragile reality truly was when you started to twist it." Alan Furst

It is time to go, I take my leave
Knew it would come, but could not believe -
S mart, tall and beautiful. You think this write done?
This is only the "S" and we've barely begun. -
A tin of beans, so harmless then,
But now I'm serving five to ten.

Frogzter on November 21, 2007Hi my dear friend Silent Eagle... I know you already had your Thanksgiving, but ours is tomorrow and I just wanted to let you know that I give thanks for you a wonderful friend!

Blessings,

Frogzter on October 22, 2007I love your new page! Little Feather did an outstanding job on the graphics! I wish I knew how to do that. I had to get help in designing my page as well as I am graphic illiterate to say the least. My page was done by Getsbetter, otherwise it would still be plain and boring... Anyway, this is a wonderful new addition to your authors page! Love it!
Blessings my friend!
Hugz 2!
