Jaded Lily

Satiated with nature's wanton looks,
beauty's overindulgence sparkles light
while soft colours drown in bell-shaped flowers,
she's a positive blur in the embrace
of the wind; fast and furious amour.
Symbolic fragrance cautions illicit
explosions as desire wraps pure tones.

And personal enthusiasm slips
a nod towards the sky's theatrical
predilection; a tender preference,
benevolently her flourishing stares
blow kisses into fine fresh water drops;
life's cool spherical speciality,
medicine for the spirit's lemon taste.

 A Lily Jaded

oh lily jaded i need some wine
or i will just have to whine
for some little fried mushrooms,
please let me at the gin and lime!

i know i am naughty, that's okay,
but i am after all chasing the day,
throw some eggs in a deep pan,
before i eat, i will pray:

to the lord who's gracious, sweet,
he will give me daily meat,
perhaps a little tipple too,
that omelette i will beat.

 I'm a loving and caring person who is against abuse in any form. I've been touched by abuse so I understand. I'll not go into detail except to say that I'm here if anyone needs to talk about something they are going through or have been through. There is nothing you could say that would shock me.
