Jade RainShow poetry

"2 AM and I'm still awake, writing a song
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me,
Threatening the life it belongs to
And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud
And I know that you'll use them, however you want to"
["Breathe (2 AM)" by Anna Nalick]

I couldn't have said it better myself, and songs often say it better than anyone else.

My style is my own and I'm quite proud of it. I love different formats and a mixture of rhyming and non-rhyming. Poems that seem senseless are most likely the ones jam-packed with emotion and meaning. Metaphors are my friends, and imagery is something I wish I could hug close to my chest and never let go.

I would love to crawl into your most intense poem and sit there pondering this line, those words, or that phrase.. why you used those words the way you did and what you were thinking when you wrote it. I hope others think the same about my poems.

========

Please feel free to leave me comments on my poems, I always appreciate them. If you have any questions feel free to message me.

    You're very welcome with the compliments, of course you do not need compliments on a poem as great as that one. When you said I described heartbreak so well, I didn't even know it was about heartbreak. I seriously had no knowledge of what that poem is about. I just wrote it...I couldn't understand and you said that it was of heartbreak, while another said it was of life etc. Maybe it was both...I don't know. Thank you for reading my poem. I am quite proud of it, after my closest friend read it and told me how he sees it. I can see the light of it now..and I am very fond of it. Thank you so much for reading "Own Lie", also the applause..lol. And good luck with all the contests you go through in the future and also anything else you go through.

    Hello, I was quite shocked to read your comment on my poem, Fantasy. The shock was a pleasant one though. I am also very impressed with your authors page. I, like you, am nothing close to being called normal. The biggest shock of all? The fact that your only 15. It's not a bad thing. The words you used to express your feelings for my poem were words of wisdom way beyond years. (At least to me when I was 15) Although I'm not much older then you, you have the maturity level that is uncommon for your age and because of that I applaud you. I will finish this comment, and then I am going to go read some of your poetry. Once again, Thank you. _Tipp_
