♥] peanut butter or jam
Jam: Because Peanut Butter sticks my mouth together...and I love to talk! (Honestly, I prefer chocolate)
♥] hug or kiss
Hug: Because a Kiss holds expectations…a Hug holds naught but comfort.
♥] black or white
Black: Because, although a scientist can take white and show us the whole spectrum, only an artist can take black and show us the shattered rainbow. I am an artist.
♥] sex or marriage
Sex: Because, in my opinion, Marriage has made itself obsolete through being so restrictive. Perhaps because I’m pansexual, this piece of paper (only available to those whose love, to my eyes, is restricted) will never mean as much to me as true love…which I guess makes my choice more about “freedom of love” rather than Sex. If Marriage changed to be more inclusive, I may change my opinion of it.
♥] Monday or Tuesday
Tuesday: Because, although Monday’s child is fair of face, Tuesday’s child is full of grace. My sister is a Monday’s child and she is beautiful. I am a Tuesday’s child and I am neither. The terminal illness that keeps me in a wheelchair also keeps me from looking like I want to. Like myself. But I would give all the good looks in the world, and even the ability to walk, in exchange for the grace to be able to dance. Perhaps facing this life has given me another sort of grace. But I do not think I am in a position to judge this.
♥] loner or popular
Loner: Because I like being alone, although I never feel alone. By my very nature, I am slightly apart from most people and I like this ability to step back and observe the world from a different point of view. To be slightly outside is to be able to see right to the very heart.
♥] rainbow or rain
Rain: Because the beauty of a rainbow will only last for a short time but the beauty brought by rain will last much longer. I live in a drought affected country and would never wish the rain to end for the sake of a rainbow. I know that the rain will bring life to our land that is more beautiful still.
♥] cookie or muffin
Cookie: Because in Australia we have a thing called a Tim-Tam. If you have ever tasted one you will understand my choice. If you have never tasted one…I pity you.
♥] hearts or stars
Stars: Because Hearts and their stories are ephemeral things that will not be remembered when they die. The light of Stars shines down on those with beating Hearts long after those Stars have died, making Hearts beat all the faster. There are those who make their Hearts live on after them, shining their passions down through the ages on lost souls and lonely Hearts. These few, the poets and the artists, transcend the ephemeral existence of the human Heart and blaze bright as guiding Stars to those of us need help finding our own light.
