I am finally a teacher

*Trust Me*
Only in time is the essence of love;
to know, never knowing what's there.
Only with hope can the world overcome
sharing such pain and such fear.

But will the heart still endure,
and again:
Will it abide what it must?
Will it find sorrow and darkness or love?
Never to know is to trust

- Men always believe they are in control of everything around them. When they find out they are not, they think they have failed, instead of learning a simple truth women already know.
-Aviendha/WoT

- At my age, if I make it up, it is still an old saying.
-Lini/WoT

- Stopping a man from what he wants to do is like taking a sweet from a child. Sometimes you have to do it, but sometimes it just isn't worth the trouble.
-Egwene al'Vere/WoT

- I'll not have you bleeding to death on me. That would be just like you, to die and leave me the work of burying you. You have no consideration.
-Faile Bashere, to Perrin/WoT

- You can never know everything, and part of what you know is always wrong. Perhaps even the most important part. A portion of wisdom lies in knowing that. A portion of courage lies in going on anyways.
-Lan Mandragoran/WoT

- If you get yourself killed I will skin you alive.
-Nynaeve al'Meara to Lan Mandragoran/WoT

- Only an Aiel would wish you good night by saying they hope you don't die in your sleep.
-Rand al'Thor/WoT

I'm a girl whose life (and poetry) evolves around my mood, other than writing I tend to lean towards dancing. I've had my chances with swing, didn't work out, I'm still working on my salsa skills, but where my heart truly lies is in the standard and latin dances such as waltz and cha-cha-cha. I am ever curious and searching for answers to ridiculous questions...quite the philosopher (that was a nice way of putting it, right?)

I like reading poetry here and pretty much anywhere, and I tend to give my very (some may say; "all too" personal opinions about what I read. I'm old fashion in the way that I prefer rhyming poetry with a good rythm that flows perfectly, not saying that I always meet those criteria 'cause I'm a firm believer in adding your personality to the style. I don't ever mean to come down on other people's stuff, though some may think I do, in my comments I offer personal opinion to what I think could be done to improve a poem. And I only comment on stuff that I believe is great or has potential to be great

I am one of those who search for flaws, I am, but only to be able to offer others what I want for myself; something to work with.
People who intend to write; "Keep it up!" and "Well done!" without any actual thought to the poems contents or style...I don't appreciate it, I prefer a personal opinion, what you actually think of it, what's good, what can be done better, what should be kept or left out. As long as you're not cruel, saying things similar to; "I hate this", "you may actually have no talent what so ever", and "please stop, you're killing my fine artistic senses!"

If you do happen to read any of my poetry, please bear in mind, that not everything I write is 100% serious or personal for that matter...
