I can't remember when I started writing but I wasn't that old - which is obvious if you read the first page a book I have written.
By accident I discovered allpoetry and honestly I'm happy about that, because before that I had nobody to critize my work - nearly all my friends are not interested in poetry.
So here I am.
German is my mother tongue but through lots of journeys to english speaking countries I learned English. I learned it, I started to speak it, I started to think in English, I started to dream in English and than one day I spoke to a friend about my feeling about something and out of the blue I switched from German to English. From then on I wrote my poems in English. Normally without the help of a dictionary because I don't translate the words in my head but play around with them already in English. Nevertheless I translated some of my old ones - I think they sound okay - not great but okay.
So have fun reading my poems and of course keep on writing!
